Adopt a German Shepherd Dog (medium coat)

Dhari is a three year old GORGEOUS red and black female.  She is good with large dogs, but please NO SMALL DOGS.  She is also very energetic and needs a family that can guarantee regular exercise and mental stimulation.

Dhari will do best in a home where she can get lots of love, attention and training. She will not do well when left alone, as some dogs reeeeallly like when you’re around.  She does have some training, and she is expert in getting under your skin as you can see by her “Hello, I’m Dhari, nice to meet you handshake.”  She’s gotten along with other large male breeds, but we’re still finding out how she does with other types.  Are you fit for Dhari?

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.

Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers.
